Holiday Playclubs

  • You can book Reading Play Holiday Playclub sessions using our Online Booking System (online bookings available during term time only, you have to book at the Holiday Playclubs in person during the holidays, registration forms and booking forms are available on site).
  • You do not have to wait for the pre-booking start date to do this, and it is free to register!

8:30am to 1:00pm £12.00
1:00pm to 5:30pm £12.00
8:30am to 3:30pm £19.00
8:30am to 5:30pm £24.00

Once you have registered online all, you will be able to pre-book all future sessions by logging in to the online booking system. If you have any questions about bookings and payments, please contact the holiday playclubs directly (Direct Contact Numbers for Holiday Playclubs), or email

Pre-bookings are taken through our online booking system. Please note that we cannot guarantee your child/ren's place until we have received payment in full. The deadline for submitting bookings will be publicised on this page as soon as the forms are ready to download. You will be able to download the booking form from this page. Forms are usually available at least a month before the next holiday period.

On Site Bookings
On site bookings can be taken once the holiday playclubs are open (out of term time during holidays). On site payments can be made by cash, online, childcare voucher, cheque or postal order (made payable to Reading Borough Council). If you are paying by cash, please bring correct change. Bookings are on a first come first served basis. Please ensure that there are spaces at the site you would like to book at before attempting to book.

Children Requiring Additional Support
Reading Play operate mainstream settings and may need to limit places based on our ratio requirements. If a SEND is highlighted in our booking process we may request additional support forms to be completed prior to attending the setting. The Additional Support Form is available to download to the right of this page. This allows the teams to make a judgement and communicate with the parent on what support we could provide.

Please note:
Retain all your play club receipts and confirmation's as you may require them if you are planning to apply for the working families tax credit.

Once a booking has been made on site there are no refunds for any cancelled or changed sessions. Refunds are only permitted if we cannot provide the sessions required (fully booked).

Sessions already booked cannot be swapped for any other sessions required at the chosen Playclub or any other advertised Playclub. This applies after the pre-booking period when the holiday playclubs are open. You can only change/move sessions during the pre-booking period.
